About Me

I am a second year Ph.D. student in i-VisionGroup of the Department of Automation at Tsinghua University, advised by Prof. Jie Zhou and Prof. Jiwen Lu. Prior to joining Tsinghua, I got my B.Eng. from Southeast University.

My research focuses on computer vision and 3D.

SegGroup: Seg-Level Supervision for 3D Instance and Semantic Segmentation

In this paper, we discover that the locations of instances matter for 3D scene segmentation. By fully taking the advantages of locations, we design a weakly supervised point cloud segmentation algorithm that only requires clicking on one point per instance to indicate its location for annotation. With over-segmentation for pre-processing, we extend these location annotations into segments as seg-level labels.

Miscellaneous Facts

I admire a famous quote from Zhang Zai: To set conscience for our world, to secure life and fortune for all people, to continue teachings of past sages, and to establish peace for all future generations.

For my hobbies, I play volleyball very well and have won several top prizes in Beijing and Southeast University. I started playing volleyball on the school team when I was 7. I love to study photography in my spare time, especially landscape photography. I can play the piano and have reached eighth amateur level. I enjoy exploring history, architecture, and Chinese philosophy. They all supply me spiritual nourishment.

Now I mainly focus on my research and work hard to publish more papers.
